World of Warcraft: Forever runs on Mac as well as Windows. The Mac minimum is macOS 12 on an Apple M2 with 8 GB of memory, and the recommended setup is macOS 15 on an Apple M4 with 16 GB. The Apple M2 is the lowest Apple chip on the list, and a 9th generation Intel Core (Coffee Lake) processor sits beside it as the Intel minimum. The graphics line asks for a Metal capable GPU with 4 GB, which the list pairs with an M2 and 8 GB of memory at minimum and an M4 with 16 GB as the recommended setup.

- Play with a controller. Forever supports gamepads officially, alongside keyboard and mouse.
- Test it early. The beta runs through October 21 and is the easiest way to check how Forever runs on your machine before the November 4 launch.
