Every class spellbook in WoW Forever has been rebuilt from the beta client (397 trainable spells across nine classes, including 25 brand-new abilities). Former Classic talent taxes—such as Hunter's Aimed Shot, Priest's Divine Spirit and Fear Ward, Paladin's Blessing of Kings, and Druid's Nature's Grasp—are now learned directly from class trainers between levels 10 and 50, while spell-power itemization begins scaling your casts as early as level 10.

How to Read the Spellbook

  • Each class spellbook has one tab per talent tree. Rogues also get a Poisons tab, and Warlocks a tab for each demon they can summon.
  • Hover or select any spell to read its tooltip: cost, range, cast time, cooldown, and effect.
  • Every spell appears at its highest rank up to level 60, with the level you first learn it. Open a spell to compare all of its ranks.
  • Talent abilities live in the talent calculator. Every class page has a Talents / Spellbook switch at the top.

Check the Right Rank Before You Train

The first-learned level tells you when a spell becomes available, not when you can use the maximum-rank values shown on its card. Open the rank list and find the rank your character can learn before comparing damage, healing or resource costs.

Before returning to a trainer, review the spells you use most often and the utility your next activity needs. A dungeon group may need a dispel, interrupt or crowd-control tool even when it adds no direct damage. Check whether the ability comes from training or a talent before planning the trip.

Compare the whole tooltip rather than a single damage number. Cast time affects whether you can use a spell while moving; range affects positioning; cooldown and resource cost affect how often you can repeat it. After training an upgrade, check the rank on your action bar before the next pull.
