How is WoW Forever different from Classic?

Forever keeps the 1–60 world and its rules, then adds new quests, zones, dungeons, raids, and a ninth race. Classes get revised talents and combined hit and crit, racials are rebuilt around two actives and two passives, and realms become realmless rulesets. Every change from Classic →

How do realms and rulesets work?

Forever is realmless. You choose a ruleset instead of a server: Normal, PvP, or Roleplaying, with Hardcore arriving after launch. Character names have two parts and are unique per region. Grouping across rulesets is not supported, so pick the same one as your friends. Leveling overview →
