Your Cooking Fire becomes a Basic Campfire where players rest, gain useful benefits, and add crafted objects from their professions. Professions also gain more than 600 new recipes, updated food, and advanced Blueprint recipes from dungeon bosses.
Camping: Basic Campfires and Profession ObjectsNew
Placing a Basic Campfire creates a campsite. Players there can gain access to vendors, repairs, profession workspaces, and one-hour buffs. To collect the buffs, sit by the fire for a few moments and get rested before heading back out. It is also a natural place to refresh your food buffs.
A Basic Campfire holds up to three crafted objects added by nearby players, one per player, and those objects share a one-hour cooldown. Every profession has three objects learned at different skill levels, and each profession provides its own buff or utility whichever object is placed. A Blacksmith's Sharpening Wheel increases Attack Power, a Tailor's Faction Banner increases Spirit, and a Herbalist's Incense Candle increases Intellect. These buffs are variants of class buffs and do not stack with them.
The first objects unlock at profession skill 20, from special camping NPCs or profession trainers. Advanced objects come from Blueprint recipes that drop from specific dungeon bosses. Alchemists can place an Alchemy Lab, Leatherworkers a Tanning Rack needed for advanced recipes, and Cooks can build upgraded campfires that hold 5 or 10 objects.
