Instance Guides

Rewritten Dungeon & Raid Guides, Complete Classic Dungeon Quests

  • Every dungeon and raid page now opens with the story of the place itself: who built it, what went wrong there, and where it stands today. All 37 instances have been rewritten, from Ragefire Chasm to Naxxramas and the nine dungeons new in Forever.
  • Refined all 23 dungeon lore and briefing sections against client DB2 data (Build 69913), stripping away AI clichés and passive phrasing in favor of immersive worldbuilding, precise subzone progression, and verified boss rosters.
  • Each instance page now carries three new sections below the story. First Run answers what a group needs before its first visit — what level to come at, how to reach the door, and where groups usually wipe. Veteran Notes covers the details a returning player wants confirmed: quest counts by faction, optional bosses, keys, and floor layouts. Changes in Forever lists what this version does differently, so version updates always land in one place.
  • Expanded dungeon quest coverage to 293 known quests across every Classic dungeon plus the current Forever dungeons. Classic objectives, levels, faction requirements, and pickup or turn-in locations are shown as a clearly marked baseline; Classic rewards stay hidden unless a Forever-specific reward has been verified.
  • Chinese dungeon pages now use complete quest text for all 293 entries. Classic names and objectives come from the pinned zhCN client localization; Forever-only quests are translated against the same English record, while quest IDs, objective counts, rewards, and chains remain structurally identical between languages.
  • Dungeon pages now list only the 216 quests classified as Dungeon in game. Prerequisite and other quest types stay out of the checklist; when a listed quest has a direct prerequisite, its card names the quest to complete first.
  • Quest pickup and turn-in entries now show their map and coordinates when verified. Select the location to open that map, zoom to the point, and highlight it with the in-game quest marker.
  • Flight paths, dungeon entrances, raid entrances, and map landmarks now use their recognizable in-game interface symbols instead of colored dots.
  • Added the Baidu site-verification tag and stamped every sitemap URL with the site's current last-updated date.
Character Roll & Camping

Character Roll, Camping, New Guides & Faster Navigation

  • Redesigned the dungeon index: all 28 dungeons are now organized by classic level brackets (10–20, 20–30, 30–40, 40–50, and 50–60) with instant faction and new-dungeon filter buttons, embossed faction crest watermarks for Alliance and Horde territory, and a streamlined card layout without duplicate tables.
  • Dungeon pages now include 66 known quests across 10 dungeons, with level and faction markers, pickup and turn-in information, objectives, rewards, and a dedicated quest page for every entry.
  • Dungeon pages now switch between the entrance location and the actual interior map, with always-visible floor buttons that open the selected level directly in multi-level dungeons including Shadowfang Keep, Gnomeregan, Blackrock Spire, Dire Maul, and Scholomance.
  • Fixed Chinese terminology across the site against the game client: Zephras Isle, the Riverglades and the new factions now use their official Chinese names, and battleground, zone and class names on Chinese pages no longer fall back to English.
  • Every class guide now lists the abilities Forever adds or hands you without a talent, with the level you learn each one, plus how many talents in the first three rows of each tree are new, changed or moved.
  • The Camping guide now answers where you can pitch a camp, which class buffs the camp objects refuse to stack with, how many slots each campfire has, and how to share a camp without stepping on someone else's.
  • Added a Gear page covering every set that is new or revised in Forever, with each changed bonus shown next to its Classic wording, grouped by class where a set is class-specific.
  • The PvP page now lists what each of the 14 honor ranks unlocks, from the faction tabard at rank 1 to the weapon arsenal at rank 14, marked as beta data that will change.
  • The Legacy page now shows the collection rewards that total Legacy Points unlock, including the spectral bear mount.
  • Added a PvP section: the 14-rank honor track that resets each patch cycle, why there is no rated PvP, the new 15-versus-15 Darkspear Islands battleground, and the PvP reputations you fight for.
  • Added a Reputations page listing all 51 factions you can gain standing with, with the 14 new to Forever marked and linked to the zone they live in.
  • Added a Currencies page covering every currency in the client, including the PvP Renown track capped at 14 and the Legacy Renown track capped at 90.
  • Added a Layering and Phase Refresh guide: how to read the five-minute zone refresh warning, where to stand before you trigger it yourself, and what changes around you on the new layer.
  • Added WoW Forever vs Classic: the five differences that decide which game you play, what Forever keeps from Classic, and who should pick which.
  • Added a System Requirements page with PC and Mac specs, the graphics card architecture cutoff that retires some older cards, and how to check which card is in your machine.
  • The class picker is now a Character Roll: draw a random race, class, and talent spec, lock the cards you want to keep, and reroll the rest. Every completed roll now glows gold as a result cue, while combinations new in Forever keep their own badge, and every roll can be shared as a link.
  • Added a chart of every race and class combination in WoW Forever, with the new combinations marked.
  • The Legacy planner now follows the in-game layout: perks open at 0, 5, or 10 points in their tree, linked perks need a point in the perk before them, and the suggested builds follow the same rules.
  • Legacy perks now show their rank, requirements, current effect, and next effect when you hover or focus them.
  • The talent calculator page now goes straight to the classes, with each class card showing its three trees; how the calculator works and what changed in each class's talents now sit on that class's calculator page.
  • All nine class guides now share the Druid page design, with Forever changes, builds or talent paths, talent changes, leveling routes, and playable races in the same order.
  • Talent details now follow the talent under your pointer after you spend a point and disappear when you leave the tree, including nodes that were previously covered by the tooltip.
  • Guide submenus now open to the right, making faction leveling routes and Legacy pages easier to reach.
  • Fixed the Chinese class and race pages, which listed Tauren instead of Undead as the Horde Paladin race and left out the Orc Mage.
  • Published a dedicated Camping guide with every campfire size, profession benefit, cooldown, and skill 20 → 140 → 300 facility upgrade path. Each camp object now shows the class buff it does not stack with, and the one upgrade that drops its earlier benefit is called out.
  • The separate Legacy perk list is gone. The planner already shows every perk and every rank, so there is one place to look instead of two, and each tree now says what it covers before you spend a point. Old perk links go to the planner.
  • The language switch is now a compact dropdown that keeps you on the matching English or Chinese page.
  • Level-range selectors on Alliance and Horde leveling routes now stay at the top while you scroll, with horizontal scrolling on phones.
  • Refreshed Choose Your Class and matching calls to action to use the current site button style.
Leveling & Legacy

New Homepage, Faction Leveling Routes & Legacy Challenges

  • Redesigned the homepage around what you can do: the latest news up top, three quick actions, a live beta and launch status card, all nine classes, tool cards, and the newest articles beside guide lists.
  • Rebuilt the leveling guide around your faction: new Alliance and Horde routes list every zone and dungeon open to you from 1 to 60, by level range, with dungeons in the other faction's territory and zones held by the other faction set apart, plus a table of every dungeon by level.
  • The Druid page now focuses on what changed in Forever: five recommended builds with the order to spend every point and one-click links to the talent calculator at any level, every new, moved, and removed talent in each tree, and where each Druid race starts.
  • Added all 65 Legacy Challenges, with class and profession milestone grids and the full dungeon and raid requirements.
  • Split Legacy into three pages: the planner with starter builds, a Legacy Challenges checklist that tracks your progress, and a Legacy Perks guide that compares rank 1 and max rank.
  • Published two articles on the beta client: every new mount in WoW Forever, and a roundup of unannounced dungeons, battlegrounds, arenas, raid encounters, titles, and appearance sets.
  • Every page now has a Chinese edition, including all news articles, the world map with all 97 zone, city, dungeon, raid, and battleground pages, the seven Classic vs Forever change guides, and the leveling guide.
  • Chinese pages now link to Chinese pages throughout, and the language switch takes you to the same page in the other language.
  • Added a bottom navigation bar on phones with Home, Classes, Talents, Zones, and News.
  • Fixed spell and talent tooltips across every class: correct resource costs (Bloodrage costs health, Overpower no longer shows mana), real area sizes instead of 0 yards, attack power scaling on Victory Rush, and enchant values on Enchanting recipes.
  • Dungeon pages now list the zone for Hall of Thanes, Krol'dok Stronghold, and Shaper's Terrace.
  • Removed three old Riverglades flight paths that appeared by mistake in The Barrens, Hillsbrad Foothills, and Searing Gorge.
Spellbooks & Professions

Class Spellbooks, Professions & the Chinese Site

  • Published a 1–60 Spellbook for all nine classes, by category or by level, with every rank's values and what changed from Classic.
  • Every spellbook entry now opens as an in-game style tooltip with a rank selector.
  • Opened guides for all 12 professions with 2,221 recipes, 961 of them new in Forever, item tooltips with stats, and the Camping system.
  • Launched the Chinese site (/zh/) with official Chinese names for every talent, spell, Legacy perk, racial, and profession.
  • Published four new articles: the GDKP ban, Hardcore in WoW Forever, PC and Mac system requirements, and Meeting Stones, mounts, addons, and PvP ranks.
  • Added the Collector's Edition and the full official roadmap to Release Date, including Onyxia's Lair unlocking with Barrow Deeps and Hyjal Summit on December 9.
  • Rewrote all seven Classic vs Forever change guides against official sources, adding items and stats, Paladin Seals, riding costs, Meeting Stones, and Hardcore.
  • Corrected new dungeon levels, dungeon and zone descriptions, and the keystone talents for Paladin, Priest, Shaman, Hunter, Warrior, and Warlock.
  • Updated the Paladin class guide, the Camping section of Professions, and the Mount Hyjal and Shen'dralas zone details.
  • Simplified the top menu to seven sections: News, Changes, Classes, Races, Zones, Professions, and Guides. Classes now opens the talent calculator and spellbooks, and Guides holds the beta, leveling, Legacy, and release date guides.
  • The homepage now counts down to the WoW Forever launch, in Pacific time on the English site and China Standard Time on the Chinese site.
