The World of Warcraft: Forever beta client holds more than the beta lets you play today. Build 1.60.1.69913 contains maps, battlegrounds, raid encounter lists, titles, and appearance sets that point to what comes next. Blizzard can still rename, rework, or cut any of it before launch, so treat this roundup as a preview.
Two Dungeons Nobody Has Announced
Four of the nine announced dungeons are live in the first beta build: City of Dalaran, Excavation Site: Wetlands, Ruins of Lordaeron, and Hall of Thanes. Each has its own loading screen art.
The client also holds two dungeon maps that Blizzard has not announced:
- Half-Pint Tavern. A dungeon map of its own, for now borrowing an old Stormwind loading screen.
- Manor Mistmantle. Named for the manor in Duskwood, and still using a generic Eastern Kingdoms loading screen.
Placeholder loading screens usually mean a map is earlier in development than the four with finished art.
Where the Remaining Five Dungeons Fit
The other five announced dungeons have no maps in the client yet, but the Legacy dungeon challenges already place them in the leveling journey:

Krol’dok Stronghold appears as a sub-zone of Riverglades, and The Shaper’s Terrace sits in Un’Goro Crater. Each challenge awards a Legacy Point, and the full dungeon lists are on the Legacy Challenges page.
Raid Encounters
The Legacy raid challenges name every encounter in the two new raids that open on December 9.
Hyjal Summit, 20 players, 13 encounters: Bandalar, Ancient of Decay, Time-Lost Battalion, Sylvestris Dusksong, Old Gloomlurker, Gharalis the Abyssal, Kathris the Haunted, Anara Chillwind, Elder Minderel, Tracker Stillwind, Council of Thorns, Nythus the Dreambound, and The Wild King.
Barrow Deeps, 10 players, 8 encounters: Deepscar Matriarch, Elder Tangleclaw, Khalith the Dreadspinner, Well of Sorrow, Amethrax, Del’lynar Songwood, Ravus and Darlissa, and Sonya Darkhallow.
The client lists encounters in its own order, which may not match the order you fight them. The client also names a new area, Archimonde’s Fall, that is not yet attached to any map.
Battlegrounds and Arenas
- Darkspear Islands is set up for 15 players per side, from level 30 to 60.
- Battle for Gilneas has a full map with eight sub-zones of its own.
- Warsong Gulch (Winter) is a winter version of the classic map.
- Mak’gora Arena and Hyjal Crater appear in the battleground list as small five-player instances. Mak’gora Arena is open from level 1 to 60.
PvP seasons follow the Field of Honor journey. Its Legacy challenges land at weeks 4, 7, and 10, so a season runs at least ten weeks.
New Zones in Numbers
The client adds more than 130 new sub-zones. The most go to Zephras Isle (27), Riverglades (19), the Ruins of Gilneas (9), Mount Hyjal (9), and Battle for Gilneas (8). The world maps for Zephras Isle, Riverglades, Mount Hyjal, and Shen’dralas are already on our zone pages, with every new place marked.
41 Titles
- PvP ranks (28). The full Alliance and Horde Honor rank ladders, from Private and Scout to Grand Marshal and High Warlord.
- Professions (6). The Alchemist, the Blacksmith, the Enchanter, the Engineer, the Leatherworker, and the Tailor, matching the six crafting professions that carry Legacy Challenges.
- Everything else. Bloodsail Admiral, of the Magram, of the Gelkis, of the Nightclaw, Master Angler, and the Harbinger of Darkness.
The 41st entry is an internal test title.

Hunter Pets and Riding
Hunters get a new pet family, the Fox. The Skyborne get their own riding skill, Galestrider Riding, for the eight Galestriders in our new mounts list.
