Learn Comprehend Scroll
Any Mage trainer teaches it from level 6. It opens the Comprehension skill line.
The Mage scroll skill: Study, libraries and every scroll
A Mage-only skill line from 1 to 300. Study at a library once an hour for a Bundle of Scrolls, then use the scrolls to imbue your weapon, summon a familiar, or open a lock.

How Comprehension works
Donate a library book
Your first donation to the library in your capital grants Research, which holds the Study recipe. Where the books are
Study at a library
Stand in a library and spend a Light Feather: a 6-second cast gives a Bundle of Scrolls, then 1 hour of cooldown.
Use the scrolls
Scrolls are single-use. Most imbue your weapon for an hour; others summon a familiar, weaken a target, or open a lock.
