The World of Warcraft: Forever beta opens on September 17, 2026, and beta access runs through October 21. It is the first chance to play Forever since the BlizzCon demo, and the last big test before the worldwide launch on November 4 at 3:00 p.m. PST.
What the Beta Means for You
- Try your class early. Talents, spells, and racials all change in Forever, and the beta is the best place to feel those changes for yourself.
- See the new world. Over 1,000 new quests, reimagined regions such as Mount Hyjal and Riverglades, and the Skyborne start on Zephras Isle are all part of the 1 to 60 journey.
- Plan launch day. With realmless rulesets and two-part character names, you can settle on a ruleset with your friends before November 4.
How WoW Handbook Updates During the Beta
