WoW Forever’s first raids unlock on December 9, 2026, five weeks after the November 4 launch. That gives every player time to reach 60, gear up in the new dungeons, and form a raid team.
Barrow Deeps
Barrow Deeps is a maximum-level raid built for 10 players. It is the natural first step for a smaller, tight-knit group of friends or a guild core.
Hyjal Summit
Hyjal Summit is a 20-player raid, set on Mount Hyjal, one of the reimagined regions in Forever’s Azeroth. It is the larger challenge for full guild rosters.
Onyxia’s Lair Returns
Onyxia’s Lair opens the same day as a 40-player raid, so every group size has a raid in the first tier.
More Raids to Come
The official roadmap adds two more raids in spring 2027, one for 10 players and one for 20, then a revamped iconic raid and another new raid in summer 2027. See the full roadmap.
Get Ready for Raid Night
- Reach 60. The leveling guide maps the road there, with more than 1,000 new quests along the way.
- Plan your build. Use the talent calculator to settle on a raid spec, and check your tools in the class spellbook.
- Run the dungeons. The nine new dungeons are the best way to gear up before December 9.
- Keep your group together. Grouping across rulesets is not supported, so make sure your raid team plays on the same ruleset.
